FAIR v2.1

Apply for FAIR Certification

A few short questions about your organisation and the AI system you want certified. It takes a few minutes. You do not need any documents at this stage, and there is no fee.

Certified systems are listed in the public FAIR Registry.

What happens next
  1. We create your account and give you a reference number. You are signed in straight away.
  2. Your application opens. You add evidence for eight categories, using documents you already hold where you can. Nothing is sent to AIFOD until you submit.
  3. An automated check looks for gaps. Sector experts on the Review Committee then assess the evidence and may ask you for one more item.
  4. The Certification Committee makes the decision. Certified systems are listed in the public FAIR Registry.

Not sure FAIR is right for you? Try the self-assessment. No account is needed. You can also download a paper worksheet (PDF).
